Sessions are conducted online via the programme Zoom. This platform is secure, easy to use and accessible to all persons at no additional cost.
Services are provided online. Therefore services can be accessed by persons residing in Trinidad and Tobago, the wider English-Speaking Caribbean and beyond. Persons from the Caribbean diaspora are also welcomed.
We will discuss confidentiality, the nature of therapy and what to expect during sessions . You will learn more about the therapist and will share a little bit about yourself and the issues experienced. At the end of the consultation, once you and the therapist decide that you wish to work together, next steps will be discussed.
Parent training sessions are for persons who wish to strengthen their parenting skills. It is suitable for biological parents, caregivers, relatives providing care to children and guardians of children. The client may have a particular issue which he/she would like to address or may wish to improve general parenting skills. The sessions will be tailored to you based on the needs of you and your child. It is encouraged that the key caregivers of the child be involved in the sessions. Typically, parenting training requires 6-10 sessions.
Debriefing is a supportive service offered to professionals after the occurrence of a critical incident. It usually occurs one to seven days after the incident and occurs via one session. It is not a replacement for therapy.
Supervision services are typically contracted by an organization for the purposes of providing clinical guidance to helping professionals. The services may be suitable to NGOs conducting social work and other interventions or other organizations doing similar work but with no clinical supervisor on their staffing. Supervision helps to ensure that ethical practices are being followed, it fosters accountability and adherence to best practices, and promotes professional growth and competence.
Coaching is a collaborative, solution focused, result orientated and systematic process in which the coach facilitates the enhancement of work performance, life experiences, self directed learning and the personal growth of the coachee (Grant, 2000). Coaching services are sourced by the professional who wishes to have a supportive, non-judgemental and constructive space to improve their professional work and address personal and/or professional challenges which may be impacting on their job and overall wellbeing.

Individual Counselling Therapy sessions are approximately 60-75 minutes
Couples Therapy sessions are approximately 1.5- 2 hours
Educational sessions whereby an individual is taught skills necessary to navigate adulthood by the counselling therapist. These are tailored to the needs of the client and are typically useful for youth 13-21 years of age
Information on support groups will be disclosed upon next launch cycle.
